Where We Are Now
The Conference on Current Pagan Studies, an annual event, was started in 2005 by Dorothea Kahena Viale at Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, CA. It is an official event of the Women's Studies in Religion program which offers both Masters and PhDs. in this subject matter.
In the past 18 years we have developed a conference that has built a bridge between Academia, The Pagan Community, and members of a diverse religious and spiritual communities. We have covered a wide range of topics on Paganism in the world today. Our scholars come from different disciplines, which adds to the richness of the conversation.
